Mit dem 1. Januar 2024 übernimmt Michael Hauspurg die alleinige Geschäftsführung. Das Unternehmen bleibt weiterhin fest in Familienhand. Alle Anteile verbleiben bei der Familie Schwedt, die so den Fortbestand der traditionsreichen Unternehmenswerte sicherstellt.

1997

The latest Production Hall 2, spanning 5,000 square meters across two levels, is operational.

1994

The city of Hohenberg honors the merits of Else Schwedt and the company FEILER and awards her the Silver Ring of Honor of the City.

1992

A new production hall for the weaving mill, spanning 1,800 square meters, is being constructed.

1982

The third generation, siblings Dagmar Schwedt and Dieter Schwedt, together with their mother Else Schwedt, take over the management.

1980s

The recession in the textile industry has not spared FEILER. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, FEILER is the only chenille weaver in Europe to survive this difficult time.

1973

The second generation, Else and Erhard Schwedt, take over the management of FEILER.

1970

An important milestone in the company's development is the entry into the Japanese market and the collaboration with Kazuko and Aharon Yamakawa from Tokyo. The beginning of one of the most beautiful German-Japanese love stories.

1955

FEILER exhibits for the first time at the International Trade Fair (predecessor of today's Heimtextil) in Frankfurt am Main.

1951

The first buildings are constructed on Greimweg in Hohenberg, the current company location.

1948

After World War II: Re-establishment of the Ernst Feiler Co. Terry Cloth and Chenille Weaving Mill in Hohenberg a.d. Eger, together with partner Bernhard Rausch and 18 employees.

1928

Ernst Feiler lays the foundation stone for today's company. He founds the ERNST FEILER Terry Cloth and Chenille Weaving Mill in Liebenstein (now Libá, Czech Republic).

1922

Ernst Feiler, born in 1899, completes his education at the prestigious Münchberg Higher Weaving School. He then learns about the fabric of his life in a weaving mill in the Sudetenland: colourful weaving chenille.
